Products
Please understand that many of our products are handmade and as such, may vary slightly from the pictures on the site. In all cases, we do our best to represent the colors and styles as accurately as possible, but cannot guarantee exact matches, due to the limitations of computer displays and the compression employed by the Web. Please be aware that huaraches are unique, one-of-a-kind items and not mass-produced. This means that there may be slight imperfections, variations, or the product may fit slightly differently from one to the next.
Zapateria Cuevas is not responsible for typos. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Shipping
Most items in stock ship within 24 to 48 hours. Otherwise, items may ship in 2 to 3 days depending on availability. Special Order items take 7-10 days to ship. Shipping days are standard business days — please remember that UPS does not normally ship on holidays and weekends.
We offer UPS shipping with Ground, Three Day (Orange), 2nd Day (Blue), and Next Day(Red) service.
Zapateria Cuevas prefers UPS because 1.) All shipments are automatically insured up to $100 (included at no extra charge) and 2.) we have a regularly scheduled daily pickup.
Currently, we do not offer international shipping to any countries outside of the USA.
We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or offer US Mail service.
Billing
Zapateria Cuevas accepts payment via PayPal and Checks. PayPal customers may pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, or Bank Transfer. PayPal is free to sign up for. Check payments take 7-10 to clear before the order will be shipped out. Please make checks payable to: Zapateria Cuevas. There is a $25 non-refundable fee on all returned checks (NSF or otherwise).
California customers will be be charged 8.25% Sales Tax on applicable orders.
- No exchange or credits are authorized after 30 days of the date shipped. Returns will be accepted only if prior notice is given & only on unused merchandise.
- For returns or credits you MUST contact us and get approval for your return.
- For returns/exchanges/credits: Merchandise must be in good condition with no signs of wear and/or use. Products in plastic or shrink wrap must be unopened. Plastic bags for huaraches may be opened.
- Please use the Return Form to authorize a return, stating the nature of the problem and what item/size you are returning it for (if applicable).
- Zapateria Cuevas will send out returns via UPS Ground.

- Zapateria Cuevas can not pay for your return shipping (it is up to you to find an appropriate shipping method to get the item safely back to us). No Exceptions — unless we have come to some other agreement with the customer based on the circumstances. Ship the item back to us, and we will send out the exchange item with free shipping.
- Please note: You will need to pay any additional expenses for the exchanged item (ie., different item or item that has a higher value)
- Please note: We will credit you if the exchanged item has a lesser value.
- Zapateria Cuevas will send out exchanges via UPS Ground.
